About

WELCOME!

Based in Portland, OR, I'm an independent dance artist, graphic designer, and consultant. I've spent my life in the arts, creative, and nonprofit sectors. I understand artists, craftspeople, dreamers, disruptors, change-makers, those dedicated to a distinct path, and making the world a better place.

My work in design, dance, and the arts has been supported by Caldera’s Artis in Residence program, the Regional Arts and Culture Council, PICA's Time-Based Art Festival, the National Dance Project, Oregon Arts Commission, Performance Works NorthWest, Precipice Fund, and others.

In the creative and nonprofit sectors, I've had the pleasure of serving in marketing, project management, teaching, curatorial, and development capacities for lucent organizations that include the Wexner Center for the Arts, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, Technical Assistance for Community Services (NAO), The Governor’s School of NC, and Portland State University's College of the Arts

I'm a proud Pacific Northwesterner rooted in Portland for over a decade. Here you will find information about my work.

CRYSTAL VISIONS STUDIO: DESIGN/CONSULTING

WHAT'S YOUR VISION?
Crystal Visions Studio (CVS) is a space for projects and collaborations in composition, imagination, and consulting in a range of mediums.

Crystal Visions specializes in graphic design, identity, communications, strategic thinking, events, and special projects for clients -big and small - on a mission to make their mark with substance. CVS synthesizes my background in visual storytelling, design, marketing, performance, festivals, contemporary art contexts, fundraising, and collaborative projects to produce deeply considered work with a signature penchant for detail.

My process is designed to be clear, supportive, and grounded in expressing the essence of who you are and what you do so that we can bring your vision to life.

DANCE: ARTIST STATEMENT

As a dance artist, I am interested in how and where experience is held in the body. This interest provides a framework for extracting the corporeal language that both intimately connects and individuates us. The anchor of the body as the site of investigation allows for rich conversations between a multitude of disciplines.

CRYSTAL VISIONS : “Noelle thoughtfully listens and receives information about you and your aspirations so that they are fused into her work. She asks good questions, is gentle, and straight forward. She tells you what she sees. She holds space and is ready for you when you are ready.

As a person with apprehension about promoting myself, Noelle moved me forward, providing clear space and direction. She finds the you in you.”

Wendy Hambidge | Living in the Body

”As with previous projects, PWNW is delighted with our new brochure! The creative and visioning processes with Noelle always lead us in the best directions. Noelle suggested a format we hadn’t thought of, and that reflects our values and mission, highlighting what makes us distinct. She also saw the piece through the printing process with professional persistence and grace.”
