This workshop is designed for any artist seeking tools to facilitate authentically engaging people with their work. Effective marketing for an artist requires a study of who they are and what they want from their art practice and career. Working from this philosophy, we’ll touch topics that span website design, marketing plans, social media, guerrilla marketing, press relations, identifying and retaining audience/s, and communicating your work.
We will cover a range of concepts and best practices so that participants can take away tactics that make representing, discussing, and effectively marketing their work an authentic extension of their creative professional practice. You're invited to bring your burning marketing questions and aspirations for a workshop designed with dialogue and exchange in mind.
