This workshop is designed for any artist seeking tools and strategies to facilitate authentically engaging people with their work. Effective marketing for an artist requires a study of who they are and what they want from their artistic practice and career. Working from this philosophy, we’ll touch topics that span communicating your work, website design, marketing plans, social media, guerrilla marketing, press relations, identifying and retaining audience/s, and current habits of arts audiences.
We’ll visit a range of marketing concepts and best practices so that participants can take away tactics to make representing, discussing, and marketing their work an authentic extension of their creative professional practice.
